    • Jim McDonald’s Website - jim (lowercase intentional:) is an excellent herbalist and teacher, who has useful write ups on all sorts of topics

    • North American Institute of Medical Herbalism and Med herb - Paul Bergner’s school and website. One of my primary herbalism mentors - he’s the best. 

    • Bot Med Rocks - Eric Yarnell’s website full of free articles and other resources on herbalism. Eric is an ND I really respect, and who has made this resource accessible and free. Highly recommend any of his works.

    • Tisserand Institute - Robert Tisserand’s Blog, excellent resources on Essential Oil safety and applications

    • Herbal Vade Mecum, by Gazmund Skenderi - an excellent reference guide for herbal action, cautions, and contraindications. 

    • Herb Manuals by Micheal Moore - available as free downloads from his newly updated website

    • The Herbal Medic, by Sam Coffman - written by a former Green beret medic, excellent book on herbal first aid, as well as medicine making. His classes are also amazing and incredibly relevant for emergent care.

    • Herbal Constituents, by Lisa Ganora - this is a more scientific perspective on what plant constituents do in the body, as well as the best methods for extracting them. Also has excellent online courses.
